STERILE COCKPIT

• the sterile cockpit rule is in force whenever the aircraft is operating in a critical phase of the flight

sterile cockpit은 critical phase에서 항상 적용된다.

• the critical of phase of flight include taxi , take off , landing , and all other operations conducted below 10,000ft MSL excluding cruise flight

critical phase란 10,000ft MSL 이하에서 행해지는 모든 운항이며, 10,000ft msl 이하의 순항은 제외한다.

• the sterile cockpit rule stipulates that nonsafety-related cockpit activities by flight crewmembers and prohibited in the critical phase of flight

sterile cockpit 시행 중에 운항 및 안전과 관련없는 행동은 자제되어야 한다.

• crewmembers should refrain from engaging in any activity that could interfere with the required duties of another crew member when the sterile cockpit cencept is in effect

sterile cockpit이 시행 중에는 다른 크루멤버들과 필요한 업무를 수행하는데에 방해되는 모든 활동들을 삼가야한다.

*take off roll 부터 landing gear up 까지 & landing gear down 부터 clear of runway까지 는 어떠한 의사소통도 제한되어야 한다. 나머지 상승 하강 구간에서는 안전과 관련된 사항에 대해 의사소통 가능하며 , 순항중엔 모든 의사소통이 가능하다

*on ground & landing gear up 후 상승단계 & landing gear down 전 하강단계 에서는 안전에 관련된 사항들일 경우에만 communication이 가능하다.
*initial climb , final approach 중에는 어떤 경우에도 communication을 삼가한다.
*cruise 중에는 모든 communication이 가능하다.
